Communication Communication is also a key area of our day. We build communication from the ground up. For pre-verbal learners PECs is implemented and intensely taught so that proficiency is mastered. For verbal learners, intense function communication programs are implemented to build up on their pre-existing language and to expand their language repertoire to the maximum. The teachers ensure that language opportunities are ceased right across the school day from the natural environment to the more structured 1:1 or group working environment.
